i'm back[:
and going]:

off to hokkaido/tokyo [japan] tomorrow!
will be back in a week.
i'll miss you guys[:

newzealand was a blast! i reallyreally enjoyed it, i think not just because i'm a veryvery optimistic person but also because of my groupmates<3>yingting, foxyhoxy, jackie, kendra, huilin, elizabeth, bennie, mellisa

highlights of trip

Imountainclimbing

mountainclimbing was a BLAST. climbed up Mt Tongiriro and Mt Ngauruhoe... which just happens to be Mt Doom a la LOTR[: the climb was really long wasn't that cold actually because of all the exercise and my shoulders hurt like hell after that. but it was all worth it. when we reached the snowbits...

i've never seen so much snow in my life except during sking at korea. there was just so much snow stretching in front of us... snowball fights, snowmen, snow angels, pictures and bumsliding <3

IIcaving

I personally feel that caving was the one activity that taught me the most. it wasnt the tourist sort of walk on proper walkways through a cave, gasp at stones and take pictures, fully equipped with dustbins and handrails sort of a cave. more like a squeezefatbuttthroughcrevice inchforwardonyourtummy holdontoslipperyrock wadethroughicywater sort of cave. = GREATFUN. it was an experience to be honest. and my tummy will never be the same again.

we got lost in the cave alone, with two torches, kendra got stuck in this crevice for ten to fifteen mins and was crying. everyone was panicking.

its in moments like this where you learn the most about people.

IIIgorging

was fantabulicious[: the water was ICYCOLD. at em 4 degrees apparently. nearly froze to death while strugging to wade in chest-deep water against superstrong currents. grabbing onto anyone's hand, any leaf, any rock to hold on. and finally sliding down the dam.

IVadrenalineday

i never understood why people could travel all the way to newzealand spending so much money and not go for the rides newzealand is famous for.
i tried:
  • agrojet [fastest speedboat in the world]
  • swoop [you get suspended 40m in the air and then swung around]
  • zorb [they put you into a ball with water and you roll down a hill]
  • luge [little cars you sit down a hill]

it was.really.really.really.fun.

newzealand was really fun. but i think a large part of it was due to my lovely groupmates. especially yingting, hoxy, jackie... and from group 1 zhut.

i love youguys and miss you lots!

went shopping! bought a pair of pants from mango and a long sleeved shirt from topshop. i'm in desperate need of suitable clothes for japan.

bon voyage people![:
