went to UCSC to play yesterday. im not really familiar with the place yet. its like i'm going but i dont really belong. everyone's got their own little cliques and all that. but the uncles and auntys are quite nice. haha. i think i'll get used to it after awhile[= it just takes time! i'm glad i have nat and isaac whom i actually know to accompany me.
i played with some guy called timothy soh yesterday. lost -.- played badly. and i played with zeslene from RGS.. won[=, 3,5,0. [= i think i'm getting my strokes back!
TMR IS ARENA AUDITIONS.
i'm very scared i screw up. but vishal and the teachers seem super confident that we'll all breeze through the auditions. doesnt make me feel any better. i mean. we've practiced pretty hard for a ten minute audition and if we make a mistake its like all the time gone to waste. i hope it works out. mark gabriel is the judge apparently which is COOL because i havent seen him for years. [= i wonder if he still remembers me! haha he was the best juliagabriel teacher i ever had. together with Mel.
